Here at Soaring Heart, we really love our latex mattresses. Not only is it the most popular bed with our customers, it's what we all sleep on, too.
And just why is latex so wonderful? Well...
* Latex is incredibly comfortable: It's supportive and resilient yet soft and supple, and it easily contours to the body's unique curves.
* Latex is surprisingly long-lasting: Natural Talalay-process latex lasts for 10 or more years, our Organic Dunlop-process latex lasts 12 years or more, and blended Talalay-process latex lasts for 20 years or longer! In these uncertain economic times, knowing your mattress will last for decades is very comforting, indeed.
* Latex is anti-microbial: For people looking to reduce allergens, latex is great. It is mold and mildew resistant, fungus resistant, and even dust mite resistant, so it can be very helpful in reducing respiratory allergies.
* Latex is non-offgassing: our natural latexes and our blended latex have both been rigorously tested and are both certified to be healthy and free of harmful substances. Our Dunlop latex is certified by The eco-INSTITUT, and our Talalay latex is certified by OEKO-TEX. * Latex is low maintenance: Since latex doesn't compress like cotton or wool, it doesn't require flipping and rotating which saves you time and effort.
* Latex contains no fire retardants of any kind: The unique construction of our latex mattresses combines proprietary layers of organic wool and cotton that make them naturally flame resistant and completely in compliance with Federal law 16 CFR 1633.
