We start with a core of extra-firm natural latex and wrap it in a layer of naturally flame retardant EcoWool textile, a thin layer of untreated cotton textile, and cover everything with untreated, 100% organic cotton fabric. Perfect and uncomplicated, not to mention long-lasting - you may want to pass this bed along to other family or friends after you're done!

Though you can't really tell in the photo to the right, the surface of the Classic Latex is flat, with no tufting or quilting.

Quilted Latex Crib Mattress We've come to think of these beautiful beds as our luxury model latex mattresses. They feature a sturdy core of natural Dunlop latex like our Classic crib, but they're surrounded by a dreamy quilted case made of all organic wool and organic cotton that looks for all the world like a commercial innerspring mattress. Just like all our latex beds, there are no chemicals added to these cribs - they're naturally flame retardant and untreated. Gorgeous!
